Used in critical power engine starting applications and electrical
switchgear environments, Enercon’s Best Battery Selector (BBS)
provides power from two separate batteries to one or more loads,
ensuring optimal battery system performance and redundancy
protection.
In peak operation, current will flow through Enercon’s Best Battery
Selector from both system batteries. However, if one battery
should become weak or experiences a catastrophic failure,
power will automatically flow from the other battery to the load.
The configuration prevents both batteries from being in parallel,
preventing the bad battery from causing failure of the other.
